Donation from SV KRISHNA REDDY RR Film makers on the eve of Audio release function for BAHUMATHY

In a rare and commendable gesture, the Producers of the Film BAHUMATHY on their Audio release function Donated Rs. 50,000/- to Keshava Seva Samithi (A Unit of Seva Bharathi). Talking on the eve of the Audio release Mr S V Krishna Reddy appreciated the role of Non Governmental agencies in charitable work and Community development.

The Producer Mr Venkat was anonymous by missing in the function but his action spoke louder when he decided to donate Rs. 5 lakh for community development prorammes as well as needy people suffering from chronic diseases or emergency medical aid. Keshava Seva Samithi runs Single teacher schools in Andhra pradesh as well as runs a home for the destitutes at Moulali, The Vatsalya Sindhu. The organisation runs the Schools in the most remote and needy parts of the world. The remote rural areas and the tribal hamlets as well as the slums of the urban landscape.

Seva Bharathi makes tribals thirst for education

KHAMMAM: Remote Kothulagutta in Kunavaram mandal of Khammam district is home to a silent transformation these days. In this remote hamlet, a bridge school, being run by Seva Bharathi, is changing the lives of tribal kids.

It is not just education that is being given. The Kondareddy children are being taught self-respect, to be proud of their culture and their role in the society. Games, sports, group discussions, meditation and yoga are moulding these boys.

Eleven-year-old Bogga Rajesh, who till the other day herded cows, today talks of how important it is to be to get educated. He talks of citizen’s responsibilities.

Payam Ravikumar of Pedda Arkur was a domestic help before being admitted to the Seva Bharathi-run bridge school. Today, he is proud to be a student.

BHU Medica team in North east

Glad to know that TheBhu (Kashi Hindu University) medical team of 23doctors have been for medical camp in North Eaststates.
They have left varanasi on 2nd may and isexpected to return back on 12th may. The team leaderis Dr. Rabishankar . There are another four teams consists of 31 doctors from Agra, Delhi Gujurat and Patna. The total strength of doctors is 54. All themedical camps will be organiserd under NMO(NationalMedicose Organisation) in association withVKA(Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram ).

Seva Bharathi new building in Kanyakumari inaugurated

New building sponsored by Bharat Vikas Parishad at Pazhathottam near Kanyakumari was inaugurated on 25-3-2007 at Guruji Nivas premises, Pazhathottam near Kanyakumari. The function started with traditional boiling of milk at the new building with poojas. Earlier the pradishtai and Kumpabishekam were performed for the Vigna Vinayagar temple which is constructed at the Guruji Nivas temple premises at 10 clock in the morning. The inaugural function was held in the presence of Shri Surya Narayana Raoji. All the Mahasabai workers of SHG attended the function and other officebearers of the Seva Bharathi projects also attended it. Shri K.R.K. Eye donation awareness campaign from Kashmir to Kanyakumari

Akhil Bharatiya Drishtiheen Kalyan Sangh, a prominent organisation working for the integrated development of visually challenged persons of the country, has started an eye donation awareness campaign from Kashmir to Kanyakumari from April 22. The campaign, which began from Pune by train, would conclude in Pune itself on May 16. The volunteers of the campaign will reach Delhi on April 30 and will stay in Delhi till May 2. The campaign is a creation of Acharya Dr Madhusudan Ghanekar, a Pune-based wellknown and unique personality in the field of hand-writing, signature analysis and author of several books in this field. The campaign would cover about 7,500-km distance. The whole distance would be covered by train. During the campaign the team of the total five activists led by Dr Ghanekar would interact with people through a very unique project called signature analysis campaign and would promote eye donation.
