Mangalore: GAIL donates Rs 2 lakh equipment to Chethana

MANGALORE March 3: GAIL Bangalore as part of its community service handed over a set of physiotherapy equipment costing Rs 2 lakh to Chethana School for Special Children on Thursday.
GAIL India Limited Director (Human Resource) Mohan R Hingnikar addressing the occasion said the company has been conducting its community services in health care, education, infrastructure development, women empowerment and one of its activity was donating the equipment to Chethana.
He lauded the dedication, courage and patience of the teachers and other personnel of Chethana who have dedicated their lives for these children without expecting any rewards.
"Teaching or taking care of challenged children is a challenge in itself. It is no easy task and is almost like running a multi-national company. Every child in itself is a unique project. They need different treatment based on their abilities," he said.
