Friday, 09 January 2009 The 33rd anniversary of SVMA Kendram, Bommuru in east godavari dist., Purva Andhra pradesh was held on 03-01-2009 saturday on a grand scale. Sri K.S. Sudarsanji , sarsanghachalak of rss participated in the function as chief guest and inaugurated the 10 bedded medical ward.
Over 2000 well wishers of the kendram participated in the function and heard the speech of paramapoojaneeya sarsanghchalak with rapt attention. speaking eloquently he says " Our land is our Punya bhoomi and karmabhoomi and it is our fortune to take birth in this country and stressed that even angels wish to take birth in our land and attain Moksha thereby because attainment of Atma saakshatkara is possible in our land only.
The sages of our country used to explain the most difficult" Darsanas" of our sastras in simple parables so that even an ordinary person can understand them. Giving an example he picturesquely depicts the " dream story of Rajarshi Janaka and the interpretation of sage ashtaavakra about the dream. Sri Sudarsanji says," In Sushupti aperson experiences the divine happiness (Atmandam) over and above the body and mind". Saying that humans in general are of five types, he categorised them as Rakshasas in human form ( nara rakshasas) ,humans with animal instinct( Narapasuvulu) ordinary humans (nara) , pious humans ( Nararottams ) and finally divine humans. Describing the Jehadi terrorists and Naxalites as Nara rupa rakshasas, he said that persons who do not respond even to the terrible troubles of fellow beings are to be called as Nara pasus. Some people expresses lip sympathy about others' troubles but dont help. They shall be called ordinary humans. But some respond to the troubles of other beings and rush to help. They shall be respected as pious humans (Narothamas).
A few large hearted live for others. They respond and help others at all times. They do not think of their selves. Such people should be regarded as the incarnations of Narayana Bhagavan.
He advised the audience thus," Dont think that we are helping others. Instead, keep thinking that a person in trouble is giving us an opportunity to earn Punya. Quoting Rajarshi Rantideva, he exhorts the audience to follow his example. He goes on to explain that King Rantideva always wanted to serve the needy people and renounced even heaven and Moksha also. Concluding his inspiring speech, Sri Sudarsanji appealed to the audience to come forward and help organizations such as Sri vivekananda maharoga arogya kendram which is providing shelter and all other amenities to around 100 leprosy patients and their children.
