Veteran Pracharak Vishnu Kumar passes away

The man behind RSS service activities

Veteran Sangh Pracharak Vishnu Kumar who practically materialised the service concept of RSS in Delhi, passed away on May 25. He was 76. He was unwell for the last a few months. He was undergoing treatment at Agrasen Hospital of Delhi. He returned Keshav Kunj in the morning and breathed his last at the Sangh Sthan. He performed the Sangh Prarthana and breathed his last at 6.55 am. Senior Pracharaks Shri Indresh Kumar, veteran Pracharak Shri Sohan Singh, Sah Prant Sanghachalak Shri Shyam Sunder Agrawal and joint secretary general of VHP Shri Champat Rai were also present at the shakha at that time.

Hundreds of swayamsevaks reached Keshav Kunj to pay their last respect to the departed soul. Tribute to Vishnuji : His service recalled

“The diversity of service projects by Sewa Bharati that we see in Sewa Bastis today is due to the tireless efforts of Vishnuji. He never imposed his thinking over the people rather involved them in the decision process. He truly lived the life of Nava Dhadhichi. He developed the service projects as a security net around the people who are being targeted by the alien forces,” said RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi. He was paying tribute to veteran Sangh Pracharak Vishnu Kumar who had passed away in New Delhi on May 25. The condolence meeting was organised by Delhi Prant RSS on May 31.

Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi further said Vishnuji never stuck to the old pattern and kept his mind open for new things and ideas. He never tired while serving the people and successfully won the trust of the people. That is why he never stopped due to lack of resources.
