Seva Bharati dedicates newly constructed houses to flood victims in Karnataka

It was a moment of satisfaction and joy for the villagers of Sabbalahunasi of Badami taluk, district Bagalakot, Karnataka, when Seva Baharati, a leading social service organization dedicated newly built houses to the flood affected people.

On monday, October 18, 2010 in a simple ceremony former RSS Sarasanghachalak Sri K. S. Sudarshan ji handed over 77 newly built houses to flood affected people. Seva Bharati has initiated complete rehabilitation of 13 villages. The newly constructed well built 77 homes are with better facilities for a village family.
 
Work of construction of houses is going on in other 12 villages. Many volunteers are working for the cause; even villagers have also offered their shoulders. Sri. Sudarshan ji symbolically handed over the keys of all these newly built homes.

Sri. Sudrashanji also participated in the tree plantation program. Later he inaugurated a tuition-institute for the 162 illiterate villagers, by name 'Sakshara Bharati Kalika Kendra'.Seva Bharati not only aims at providing houses but has future plans to educate the villagers about the social happenings and to make them aware about all benefits they could get from Central and state government schemes, through the 'Sakshara Bharati kalika Kendra'.

During the ceremony Sri Kashinath Swamiji of Guledagudda, Sri Abhinava Oppatteshwara Swamiji, RSS state Joint Secretary Kajampady Subramanya Bhat, Aravinda Deshapande, Sridgar Nadiger, Pranth Pracharak Gopalji, Ministers Govind Karajol, Murugesh Nirani and several others were present.
