Sewa Bharati: Bank of India gifts two computers to Vanvasi hostel

Bank of India on Monday gifted two computers to Vanvasi hostel in Sewa Bharati Ananddham.

Speaking on the occasion, former VC of Barakatullah University and Sewa Bharati president DP Sharma informed that total 7,712 Sewa Bharati centres were active in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and added that volunteers are running these institutions without any remuneration.

He also expressed gratitude to regional manager of the bank, AK Verma for gifting computers to the hostel.

In his speech, Verma lauded people effort, especially women who were teaching these children without charging anything.

Pointing out that computer education as a must in present era, he said that these computers will help these children to improve their skills.

Additional Commissioner of Tribal Development Corporation Sanjay Varshney is the chief guest of the programme, and he lauded the effort of Sewa Bharati. Applauding the gesture of Bank of India, he said that despite being a lead bank, it also takes responsibility in social sectors.

Marketing manager of the bank Alok Shrivastava, Anup Sharma, woman social worker Anita Chawla, Varsha Mishra, Rajani Agrawal, Bharati Sharma were present on the occasion.
