Sewa bharati: Aasare houses to be given to landslip victims at Kadwad

Karwar: The houses built by Seva Bharati Trust, Hubli, with the help of Uttara Kannada district administration under the Aasare scheme at Kadwad village near Karwar will be given to the beneficiaries on Thursday, according to B.N. Krishnayya, Deputy Commissioner.
The houses were built for the victims of landslips in Kadwad village in which 19 people were killed. The houses will be handed over by Sri Vamanashrama Swamiji of Haldipur.
They will be inaugurated by Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri district in-charge Minister. Anant Kumar Hegde, Member of Parliament, will preside over the meeting. Suresh (Bhaiyaji) Joshi of Sahakaryavaha (General Secretary), RSS, will be the chief guest.
Mr. Krishnayya said that the district administration had bought about 3.5 acres of private land and 50 houses had been built on 30 x 50 plots each.
The foundation stone was laid on November 13 last year.
Gopal of Seva Bharati Trust said that basic amenities such as water, road, electricity, street lamps, toilets and drainage were provided in the colony.
He said storm-water drains were built at a cost of Rs. 17 lakh to prevent water from entering the rehabilitation centre.
He said that Seva Bharati Trust has built 1,680 houses in six districts.
The houses built under Asare scheme at Sabbalahunasi village in Bagalkot district had been handed over to the beneficiaries. Kadwad will be the second village, he said.
K.H. Narasimhamurthy, Additional Deputy Commissioner, said that Hubli Electricity Supply Company has provided electricity.
The Kadwad Village Panchayat is providing water supply. Road and drainage was provided by the engineering section of the zilla panchayat.

Sewa Bharati’s one country, one constitution’ rally held

Sewa Bharti Pathankot demonstrated an awareness rally with the slogan of 'One Country, One Constitution' at various roads of Pathankot. The entire rally was organised under the observation of President Bhupinder Singh Kahlon. On this occasion, State Head BJP Ashwani Sharma was present as chief guest and Acharya Sanjay Muni, DSP Naresh Dogra, Vice-President Satish Saini,President VES Vijay Passi, President Hindu Singh Ekta Club Nirmal Singh Pappu, Shiv Sena Punjab Vice President Satish Mahajan, Distt President Shiv Sena Ravi Sharma, Suraj Chopra, President Pryas Sanstha Raja Julka, President Khanpur Vikas Manch and Khatri Yuva Sangthan Rohit Kohli, Ram Lal Sanotra, Gen. Coordinator Rotary Club Vinay Joshi and former MC Shoba Rani was present as guest of hounour. Chief guest along with other guests flagged off the rally. The rally began from Ram Leela Ground and again ended at Ram Leela Ground after moving from various roads of the city including Salaria Chowk, Garhi Ahata Chowk, Gandhi Chowk, Railway Road and Valmiki Chowk.
Speaking on the occasion State head BJP Ashwani Sharma praised the endeavor of Sewa Bharti for spreading the message to unite the nation.
While detailing about rally President Bhupinder Singh Kahlon said that the prime motive of the rally is to spread the message of brotherhoodness, integration and for maintaining peace in the nation. The rally also demonstrate for eradicate Act 370 in Kashmir and moved with the slogans 'One Country, One Constitution'. He also criticized that activities of stone pelting on Hindu families and Indian army by the residents of Kashmir. During the rally students raised the slogans like 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai Ho', 'Dhara 370 Khatam Karo' and 'Jahan Huye Balidaan Mukharji veh Kashmir Hamara Hai'. Various religious, social, educational and political societies support the rally by giving their presence.
On the occasion Tarun Arora, Sudesh Khatri, Th. Karan Singh, Dr. Jarnail Singh, Satish Chander Saini, Ramesh Rana, S. Surinder Singh, Manohar Lal Mehta, Kamlesh Kaur, Narinder Kala, S. Nirmal Singh Pappu, Vijay Passi, Mamta, Sheetal, Gagan, Pardeep Sharma, Kirna Rani, Jyoti and Sanjeev Dogra were present.
