Awareness camps: The Punjab Social Welfare Board has been allocated Rs 50 lakh to organise awareness camps, vocational training for women and run counselling centres, chairperson Vijay Luxmi Bhadoo said. Addressing an awareness camp organised by the Seva Bharti, an NGO, at Ganga Mata Mandir in the slum area of Regar Basti here, she exhorted women to take benefit of the schemes that were launched under the Swavlamban programme by the Board. — OCSev
