Sewa bharati: 473 houses handed over to the karnataka flood-affected

Hole Alur, Mar 18 (The Hindu): Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa announced on Thursday that the Government will organise a convention of flood-affected people of Gadag district at Naragund in May. He was speaking at the inauguration of Jagannath Nagar, a colony comprising 473 houses for the flood-affected people, at Hole Alur in Ron taluk of the district. Seva Bharati constructed the houses. Earlier, the Chief Minister, along with Rashtriya Sarasanghachalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat, handed over the Record of Rights to 11 beneficiaries.
Minister for Woman and Child Development C.C. Patil spoke. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the Alur Venkatarao Bhavan here.
