Seva Bharti: Entries invited for Vishnu Kumar Sammans

Bhopal: Entries have been invited for three State-level Vishnu Kumar Sammans. Entries for the year 2011 can be submitted by December 31. Under the three Sammans constituted in the memory of social worker and founder of Seva Bharti, late Vishnu Kumar, persons making outstanding contributions to the betterment of Tribals, Scheduled Castes and Women and Children are honoured.

Vishnu Kumar Anusuchit Jati Samaj Seva Samman is given to a person or organisation for doing excellent social work for scheduled castes.

Similarly, Janjatiya Samaj Seva Samman is bestowed on a person or organisation for putting in excellent work for welfare and upliftment of tribals while Vishnu Kumar Mahila-Bal Kalyan Samman is given for excellent work for welfare for women and children.

All the three awards carry `one lakh each in cash and a citation. Information about the awards can be obtained from the office of
