 Pathankot, February 27The second phase of Pulse Polio immunization drive was today organised at Pathankot under the direction of Health department and the observation of SMO Pathankot Dr Achla Bhatia. The immunization camps were arranged in each nook and corner of the city. All the Government Schools, Dispensaries, Chowks and many other places were installed with polio booths for the convenience of the public. A number of Pulse Polio immunizations were observed under the observation various social welfare associations of the city including Sewa Bharti, Rotary Club, Brahm Kumari Ishwariya Vishav Vidhayala, Pathankot Vikas Manch, Pathankot Beopar mandal, Khanpur Vikas Manch, District Youth Congress, Block Youth Congress, Vidhya Education Society, Sarbhat Khalsa, other religious organizations.  Various distinguish leaders including administrative office found inaugurating the camps at various place including Civil Surgeon Dalip Kumar, SMO Achla Bhatia, BJP State Head Ashwani Kumar, Transport Minister Master Mohan Lal, Dera Swami Jagat Giri Ji Maharaj, Tehsiledar Yashpal Sharma and many other renowned personalities. The pulse polio campaign recorded succeeded in all areas. Speaking on the occasion SMO Dr. Achla Bhatia told that all the social welfare society and other organizations are supporting them in all aspects and she would like to pay her gratitude among them on behalf of health department. She added that to assure the success of the drive the teams of various NGO's under the guidance of health department will move to the each nooks and corner of the city and mark every building of the city. She added that especially the slum areas and the industrial areas will be focused by the department during these 2 days. |
