Sewa Bharti Jammu organizes 'Bal Shiver'

JAMMU, APR 15: NGO, Sewa Bharti Jammu and Kashmir today organised one day "Bal-Shiver" for unprivileged children, here. Around 200 hundred children belonging to age group 6-14 years from slums and basties of Jammu participated in the 'Shiver'.
Various events organised under the day long 'Bal Shiver' included sports events, debate, painting and craft competition, singing and dancing by the children. Later, an exhibition of paintings and crafts was also organised. Eminent educationists delivered lectures on personality development and Doctors educated the children about personal hygiene. Chief Manger, SBI, Ravi Bharti was the chief guest and RK Kandroo, Manager, SBI, Karan Nagar was the guest of honour on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Bharti appreciated the role of Sewa Bharti in educating the underprivileged children.
Programe was compared by K L Kachroo, Secretary, Sewa Bharti.Vote of thanks was presented by President, Sewa Bharti, Ram Lal Gandotra.
