Spiritual Music Therapy by Raj Dogra in jail

JAMMU, Oct 11 : Continuing with his efforts to reach the needed and provide relief to them when the costly medicines and other remedies have failed, Spiritual Music Therapy Guru Raj Kumar Dogra, conducted 1-day Workshop in the premises of District Jail, Udhampur and gave a live presentation of the therapy to the jail inmates in presence of the Jail Suprintendent Dr. Vinod Anand and other officials of the jail. It was organised by “Swarangan Meditation Charitable Trust (Regd.) in collaboration with Vichar Kranti Manch. Its trustee Payal Dogra also gave vocal support to Raj Kumar Dogra.
Raj Kumar Dogra, who also gave a detailed lecture of a massive gathering of over three hundred prisoners, majority of those found involved in criminal and social evils, said that the fast moving and costly life style of the present day has, on one hand provided luxuries of life, on the other it has recorded an increase in the number of people who are easily getting attracted to the sins in society. He said that it has now been proved beyond any doubt that “where the modern day medicine fails, centuries old spiritual music therapy brings positive results”. The impact of this therapy can be well judged from the fact that a person under this meditation finds a great change himself in his or her attitude and becomes more positive towards, life, towards society and towards social binding and responsibilities.
Raj Kumar Dogra further said that he has been reaching the needy people with his free of cost service as “its my mission to provide healing touch to those who have been left unattended and in dark” and declared that his services for any person who has inclination towards this therapy will be available without any consultation fee or any other type of charges.
Jail Superintendent Vinod Kumar Anand while expressing gratitude to Raj Kumar Dogr, said that the inmates of jail will be benefited and they will feel more relaxed and calm.
Pertinent to mention that Raj Kumar Dogra, during the last five years, has given live presentations of Spiritual Music Therapy in different parts of the state, including jails, psychiatric hospitals, orphanages, army units and general public on a number of occasions. He has the distinction of having performed in UK, Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Switzerland, Mexico and other countries of the world.
Bharatiya Vidhya Bharti School Principal Renu Sharma and Seva Bharti Women Wing Vice-president Smt. Neelam Nargotra were prominent among those who were present on the occasion.
