Sewabharti: Swami Vivekananda Shoba yatra

Hundreds of school students and residents holding placards and pictures took part in a "Shobha Yatra" taken out on Saturday evening to mark the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda. The programme was organised by Swami Vivekanand Jayanti Samaroh Samiti.

The "Shobha Yatra" accompanied by a tableaux of the wandering monk that was flagged off by local MLA and Cabinet Minister Surjit Kumar Jyani.

DEO Sandeep Dhuria, district convener of the Samaroh Samiti Ranbir Jhorar, spiritual leader Bhai Naresh Ji, president of Beopar Mandal Ashok Gulbadhar, president of Sadhu Ashram Dr Roshan Lal Thakkar, president of the district unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Liladhar Sharma, president of the local Municipal Council Anil Sethi, Senior Medical Officer Dr SP Garg, president of the Aarhtiya Association Shriniwas Bihani, chief of Social Welfare Society Raj Kishore Kalra, Sewa Bharti president Babu Lal Arora and others led the "Shobha Yatra".
