Sewa Bharathi AP Blood donation camp: Blood donated to Cancer affected Children

Sewa Bharathi AP has conducted a Blood donation camp at Hanuman Temple, Sanathnagar, Hyderabad on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi.A Total 80 Persons donated Blood including 5 Mahilas.
The Programme was supported by the Basava Tarakam Cancer institute / NTR Blood Bank, They have collected the Blood. As per them this blood will be given to children of age group 8 -13 years, suffering from Cancer. This camp was attended by Vibagh Sangh and Seva Bharathi Elders.Local Swyamsevaks have provided all the help.

—Kapil Dev THOUSANDS of rural folk, including Vanvasis, participated in a marathon organised in New Delhi on January 13 to spread awareness about education and also to celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Veteran cricketer Kapil Dev, ace wrestler Sushil Kumar, ace shooter Vikram Bhatnagar and Indian mountaineer Santosh Yadav flagged off the premier marathon at Talkatora Indoor Stadium. The event saw the presence of around 3,000 people participating in various sub-events involving a distance run of 5.5 kilometres. The total number of runners including veterans, youths, women, urban and rural were more than 5000. Sewa activities honouring Swami Vivekananda

Vishwa Samvad Kendra Tamil nadu: In connection with the 150th birth year celebration of Swami Vivekananda, Seva Bharathi, Vivekananda Kendra, Sri Bala/Sri Navasakthi Vinayagar team along with RSS Chennai-Triplicane Unit organized for Blood Donation Camp, Free Eye, Dental and Medical Camp, Free Yoga Class.
Various sessions like ‘Secret of Success’ for school going children and ‘food is the medicine’ session, exhibition portraying Swami Vivekananda were part of the programme.
Nearly 950 people participated in the camp. 176 persons donated blood, 15 persons were given free eye surgery, 200 free spectacles were provided. Leading Hospitals like Life Med Hospital, Chettinad Hospital, Ramachandra Hospital, Udhi Hospital, Govt. Hospital Royapettah offered their services for the cause. NKT Girls School, Youth environment services, Victory organization, Ekkam Foundation, Mangal Nethra and Triplicane Vyabarigal Sangam also participated in the programme.

Purvanchal Seva Sangam ends on positive note

Guwahati, March 02: A congregation of service organizations active in the sensitive state of Assam in northeast India concluded here recently on a very positive note. Over 50 such organizations participated in this conference called ‘Purvanchal Seva Sangam’ which was held from February 23-24, 2013. The event was inaugurated by in charge of the north east region of Bharat Sewashram Sangh Swami Sadhananda by lighting the traditional lamp on the first day.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion Swami Sadhananda exhorted the people to render selfless service to the needy and neglected sections of the society. We must work in tandem with each other so that better service could be provided to those who need to be brought up at par with rest of the society, the Swami said.

Gurusharan Prasad, national co-convener of Rashtriya Seva Bharati under whose auspices this seva sangam was organized, dwelt on the role of Sewa Bharati and the concept of seva provided by the Rashtirya Seva Bharati.
