#UBSS #CyclonePhailin Relief work As on 17.10.2013: Sewabharati






Though Government machinery worked over-time for evacuation from vulnerable areas; Volunteers managed to take more than 5,000 people to safety before the deadly cyclone could strike. The Volunteers also provided shelter to close to 7,000 people. Dry food was also served to thousands of people. More than 16 roads in quick effort were cleared by the Volunteers, vital for road connectivity in the localities. In worst affected Ganjam district major town of the city Berhampur roads after the devastation were cleared by Swayamsevaks.

MEDICAL HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP BY RSS DURING FLOOD ON 17/10/13 IN TOTAPALA OF SADAR BLOCK,BALESWAR. 106 PEOPLE (INCLUDING WOMEN & CHILDREN & OLDS ) WERE BENIFITED.NECESSARY ADVICEE & MEDICINES WERE DISTRIBUTED. NANDA KISHORE RANA,RANJAN SAHU, DILIP NAYAK,TAPAN BHAI OF UBSS & PINTU BHAI CO-ORDINATED THE HEALTH CHECK-UP CAMP.
