NDS organises literary meet : Sewabharati

JAMMU, MAR 16: To mark the festival of colours, Holi, Nami Dogri Sanstha organised a multi-lingual literary meet at Sewa Bharti, here today.
Nationally acclaimed Urdu Poet and President, Adbi Kunj, Sham Talib was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Sham Talib in his address impressed upon the writers to contribute towards creating good literature and enriching the Dogri Language. He also dwelt upon the literary merits of the presentations read on the occasion.
Vijay Atri while addressing exhorted that the writers and artists' fraternity should work fervently to promote the Dogri language and literature besides preserving our rich Cultural Heritage. He eulogized the effort of NDS in periodically organizing such meets and events. Atri further appealed to the literary and cultural organizations as well as Jammuites to join hands and vociferously raise the issue of ''Duggar Channel''.
Advocate, Dogra Harish Kaila, President, Nami Dogri Sanstha also spoke on the occasion. He assured that NDS is committed to promote Dogri by providing a platform to young and budding artists as well as the established writers.
Those who read their poems and short stories included Sandeep Singh Jamwal, Suraj Prakash, Shambu Ram, Manjeet Singh Kamra, K.L. Dewana, Rajeshwar Bhakhri, Sham, Ramesh Chadda, and Yash Paul Yash.
