Board exam results are out, and they have passed with flying colours. Yes, with the board results of 2014, the children of the backward classes have once again proved themselves and the fact that with the right kind of environment, these children can realize their true potential. By securing more than 80 and 90 percentage, the students at Gopal Dham residential school has made us proud and set the flag of Sewa Bharti flying high.
Children at Gopal Dham lead a much disciplined life and works very hard towards achieving their goals. Their sheer hard work that they have put in for years, have reaped then a good harvest, which can be seen in their board exam results.
These children who are destitute and belong to the backward class are a deprived lot and needs the support of privileged ones in society to find their foothold in today’s competitive world. Their life is one of struggle and hardship, but they are no less than anyone in terms of possessing v potential and talents. Their raw talents need to be nurtured, and, given a chance they could prove their true potential and bring about positive change in society.
Education is the very golden edifice on which the foundation of a just and equitable society is based upon. And Sewa Bharti has set this strong foundation with the establishment of Gopal Dham residential school at Bhopra near Ghaziabad. Gopal Dham is a residential project for weaker section, destitute and militancy affected children.
Education is a rope that can carry us to greatness. It is one of the most important things in life because without education one cannot contribute to the world and lack knowledge. This is a known fact that knowledge is power, and when one know what one can do, one can go that mile further.
As Nelson Mandela has aptly said “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. And with the results of Gopal Dham students, we can safely conclude that these children will definitely prove their worth in being productive change agents to the society. clip_image002
