#Sewabharati Appeals for support to #CyclonHudud victims

The Cyclone Hudhud has literally torn the city of visakhapattanam apart while the rural areas of Srikakulam lost millions of rupees worth crops, Cattle and not to mention the livelihoods of fisherman and craftsmen.


The death toll rose to 22, with 15 deaths reported in the worst-hit city of Vishakhapatnam, six in Viziyanagaram district and another in Srikakulam.


Over 500,000 displaced


100,000 houses damaged


Jana Sankshema Samiti, appeals to the people to support the victims of Hudhud cyclone. The Samiti has launched relief operations at in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts. 

Food distribution is on as well as medical aid and arrangements are being made for rehabilitation work.
