220 delegates including 26 women representing 30 voluntary organisations participated in one day Sewa Sangam held at Kolkata under the auspices of Samaj Seva Bharathi Paschim Banga, Kolkata and Rashtriya Sewa Bharati.

It is an initiative of SEVA BHARATI ARUNACHAL PRADESH in collaboration with JANA PRABODHINI PUNE. The citizens of Delhi are becoming aware and conscious of the country’s condition particularly due to several awareness campaigns launched about cleanliness, women safety, social responsibility and contribution towards making a better India. This was evident on Sunday morning as almost 1000 people despite extreme cold participated in a ‘Sankalp Daudh’ at Kudsia Park in Civil Lines organized by Sewa Bharti, an NGO working for economically weaker sections of the society. It was a short run of 3 km from the park in which people from all walks of life participated.

The 15-minute film My Wish, My Honour is slated for release by December 25 and is directed by (right) Neetu Narayan The recent sexual assaults on minors in Bengaluru schools have inspired a few like-minded individuals in Mangaluru to create a 15-minute film in English called My Wish, My Honour.

With this film, Neetu Narayan debuts as a director. She is an Economics Honours graduate from Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and also holds a Masters in Mass Communication from the School Of Communication, Manipal. 

She told Bangalore Mirror, "It all began with an idea from Dr U V Shenoy, a paediatrician who is also the trustee of Chethana Special School. He wanted something to be presented when he goes for talks and debates. I was not very confident in the beginning, but decided to write the story. New Delhi December 05: Blind from his birth, Pradip Kumar of Nizamabad, works as a Public Relationship Officer in an govt enterprise keeps himself busy in social works after his routine office works.
Dr Manmohan Vaidya with Pradip Kumar In his childhood, Pradip Kumar spent his school day evenings in Shakhas of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Though physically he was blind, Pradip could imbibe the immense values of RSS ideology through his inner vision. He became a regular activist of RSS, became the Mukhya Shiskak (Chief Instructor) of the same shakha for 3 years. Blindness was nothing a cause of concern. SewaBharati volunteers convinced him to shift to Hyderabad where he stayed as a full time volunteer and started working in the slums near Kachiguda. Over 10,000 people take shelter in relief camps in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, December 25: In the wake of killings, counter killings and arson in Adivasi and Bodo villages following the attack by NDFB (S) on innocent Adivasi people in Kokrajhar, Chirang and Sonitpur, altogether 10,570 people have been forced to take shelter in 24 relief camps in Kokrajhar district. Of 24 relief camps set up by the district administration, nine are in Kokrajhar subdivision while 15 are in Gossaigaon subdivision. Out of total people languishing in relief camps, 4,070 are in Kokrajhar district while 6,500 are in Gossaigaon subdivision. Since December 22, as many as 30 people have been killed…
