7-day Sevabharathi Yoga program draws close in Tawang

TAWANG, Aug 14: Seva Bharati conducted a seven-day programme on Yoga that concluded here today with 24 participants getting lessons on Yoga.
Yogasanas, Pranayam, Surya Namaskar and breathing techniques were the main attractions of the Yoga class.
Seva Bharati Yog Prashikshak Dhananjay Chutia was honoured by Tawang DSP Pem Norbu Thongdok for his volunteer service.
Thongdok, the chief guest said that people should come together and participate positively in the programmes arranged by social organizations like Seva Bharati because they are working purely for the social causes.
He said, We should be proud of what we have, what our ancestors have given us. We are following western model blindly but forgetting about our great gift - Yoga to the world for keeping ourselves fit.
Rinchin Norbu, secretary of Losel Nyinje Library supported the Yoga classes organized by Seva Bharati.

Rashtriya Sewa Bharati and Sewa Internationaldistribute school kits to Nepal quake affected students

Sewa International and Rashtriya Sewa Bharati with the support of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh Nepal started distribution of school kits to ‪ earthquake-affected students on August 4. In the initial phase to be run for two weeks, a total of 31,000 school kits would be distributed in the worst affected districts. The first school chosen for the school kits was Shree Chandrodaya Higher Secondary School, Primary Wing at Vishaltaar, Dhading District. A total of 140 students, belonging to 1st to 6th standards, received the kits. President of Sewa International, USA, Shri N Sreenath and Rashtriya Sewa Bharati president Shri Surya Prakash Tonk presided over the distribution ceremony. The school kits include a spacious bag, notebooks, pencil box/geometry box with accessories, registers, drawing book, graph book and crayon box.

Manipur Floods : Relief materials provided by sewabharathi

Imphal, August 14 2015 : Members and volunteers of Saheed Madhumangol Foundation and Sewa Bharati, Manipur distributed relief materials like rice, dal and salt to the villagers affected by the recent flood at Tanjing and Sugnu in Bishnupur district through the help from local clubs and meira paibis on Thursday.

August 15th, 2015 : On the eve of 69th Independence day, 23 handicapped  persons from BPL families were given Artificial limbs (Modern and fully automatic, imported from USA). The programme was sponsored by Abhaya,  Sri Vastha Nrusimha Palaparthi -Morampudi Foundation in association with Sevabharathi, Secunderabad.  The chief Guest for the programme was Dr. Saibaba Goud a prominent social worker in the field of Differently abled.
The venue of the programme was at Sivananda Ashramam, Padmaraonagar.

सेवा भारती के दल ने भोजशाला का किया अवलोकन

धार। धार की ऐतिहासिक भोजशाला में इंदौर सेवा भारती के दल ने भोजशाला के इतिहास को जाना और अवलोकन किया। मुख्य रूप से यहां पर उन्हें यहां के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। चार अलग-अलग बसों में महिला और पुरुष सेवा भारती के माध्यम से आए थे। भोजशाला में मां सरस्वती और राजा भोज के नारे गुंजायमान हुए। स्थानीय हिंदू संगठन के पदाधिकारियों और कार्यकर्ताओं ने स्वागत किया। साथ ही भोजशाला के बारे में विशेष जानकारी दी।
भोजशाला में सेवा भारती का दल आया। इस दल ने शनिवार को दिन में काफी देर तक भोजशाला में रहकर विभिन्ना जानकारियां हासिल की। साथ ही मां सरस्वती की आराधना भी की। इन सभी श्रद्घालुओं ने भोजशाला का बारीकी से अवलोकन किया। साथ ही इसके इतिहास के बारे में भी जानकारी ली। इस मौके पर उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरण रहा। खासकर मां सरस्वती की जयघोष की गई। मातृशक्ति में भोजशाला के प्रति उत्साह देखने को मिला। - निप्र

Pandharpur, a small town in Solapur district of south Maharashtra is popularly known as Kashi of South (Dakshin Kashi). The biennial pilgrimage called “Waari” is very popular in Maharashtra, north Karnataka and parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It has recorded tradition of thousands of years. The pilgrims known as “Warkaris” are mostly farmers and also professionals from traditional vocations and are from across the cast and creed. This pilgrimage carried out four times a year - in Hindu months of Ashadh, Kartik, Magh and Chaitra. SEWA BASTI TURNED INTO AN IDEAL GRAM

Sewa Bharati workers near Sikandara in Agra have turned a Sewa Basti into an ideal village. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Suhasrao hiremath visited the Basti on July 17 to meet the people. The work in the Basti is being carried out under the leadership of a retired police officer Shri Ashok Bhatnagar. The villagers including the parents of the children who attend the Bal Sanskar Kendra informed Shri Hiremath not even a single child of the Basti went to school about eight years back. Now majority of the children go to school. A temple has also been constructed in the Basti where regular puja is held. A mobile library has also been set up. Shri Hiremath said a person becomes great y getting good samskars and having sound mind and intellect. The Sewa Bharati is trying to change the mindest of the people through such activities. Kshetra Sewa Pramukh Shri Gangaram, mahanagar Sewa Pramukh Shri Ashok Sharma also accompanied the workers.
