NGO Workshop by Seva Bharathi & Youth for Seva from Tech for Seva on 20-09-2015 at ECE Auditorium, opp. College of Engineering, Osmania University.

It was a day long program where NGOs are guided by senior professionals Prof. K.V. Raju, Director, Development Management Institute (DMI), patna, Sri GV Krishna Gopal, CEO, Access Livelihoods Consultants India Ltd., Sri Madhava Reddy Yadma, Secretary, Vandemataram Foundation, Swamy Kounteya Dasa, Hare Rama Hare Krishna (Akshaya Patra Foundation - Iskon), Sri Prasad, Director, NTT Data, Sri Rammurthy Prabhala, Vice President, Capgemini, Sri P Venugopal Reddy, Chairman, Ekalavya Foundation, Sri Narasimha Rao, Sr. Vice President, Infosys and Sri Aekka Chandra Shekar, Sr. Social Worker. 

Totally 120 representatives from 100 NGOs from various districts of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh has been participated in this work shop.

Morning Session:

The Program was inaugurated by Sri Narasimha Rao, Sr. Vice President, Infosys and Sri Raghunath Verabelli,Secretary, Seva Bharathi. Sri RK Anil has given a brief of Tech for Seva Vission & Mission and also about the work shop Program.

Prof. K.V. Raju has taken the first session on "Community Mobilization & Sustainability". In this he gave a complete picture of What is the importance of study the conditions of the area along with community, involve them in planning, designing, action and How to do all the above. The final conclusion of the session is to transform a community to it's best, reliable and sustainable involvement of community will play key role.

Sri GV Krishna Gopal has taken the next session on "Logical Framework Approach (LFA)". It is a scientific approach to complete a project a successful. General it starts with system design, contains 4 Ds with another D. The 4 Ds are Discover, Dream, Design and Do in the same order. The another D which is mandatory and has to be done after every 4 Ds of aforesaid is Dialogue. He explained by taking example from the works of delegated NGOs itself. 

 Noon Session:

The post lunch session was a panel discussion on Fund raising techniques with a group of panelists from successful NGOs  & Corporate. The panel members are Sri Madhava Reddy Yadma, Swamy Kounteya Dasa, Sri Prasad and Sri Rammurthy Prabhala. These panelists gave awareness, suggestions and type of fund raising techniques and also cleared the doubts of NGOs.

The Next session was taken by Sri P. Venugopal Reddy on " Government benefits and Organization Challenges". He explained the general welfare schemes which are meant to to the transformation of Nation and how an NGO can work as catalyst in reaching of those schemes to the needy and under privileged sections of the society. In doing so what are the difficulties a NGO can face, how to resolve them and move forward towards their goals. 

and finally Sri Aekka Chandra Shekar has given concluding remarks of the program and given suggestions to attended corporate, NGOs and the Intellectuals in how to take it forward the social service.
