Coming soon: Film on woman’s right to be safe by #Sewabharati

The 15-minute film My Wish, My Honour is slated for release by December 25 and is directed by (right) Neetu Narayan The recent sexual assaults on minors in Bengaluru schools have inspired a few like-minded individuals in Mangaluru to create a 15-minute film in English called My Wish, My Honour.

With this film, Neetu Narayan debuts as a director. She is an Economics Honours graduate from Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and also holds a Masters in Mass Communication from the School Of Communication, Manipal. 

She told Bangalore Mirror, "It all began with an idea from Dr U V Shenoy, a paediatrician who is also the trustee of Chethana Special School. He wanted something to be presented when he goes for talks and debates. I was not very confident in the beginning, but decided to write the story.
