Vatsalya trust Nellore : They see their parents in god

“We don't know the names of our parents, nativity, caste and other details. What should we write in the columns mentioned for father, mother and caste in the SSC nominal rolls? We don't have the luck to enjoy the ‘Right to Education' like other children,” regret the inmates of Vatsalya Orphanage Home located in the city. About seven boys of the home, studying in Bharatiya Vidya Vikas E.M. High School in Nellore, are appearing for tenth class examinations this year. But the GO, issued by the government on September 14, 2009 making mother's name compulsory along with father's name has become a curse for these inmates. Speaking to The Hindu, a student D. Eshwar said: “I was admitted in Vastalya by some unknown persons when I was just months old. I don't know my parents and other details.
