Training for civil services aspirants begins at 7 centersechonewsmark
NAHARLAGUN, Jan 9: The inauguration ceremony of APPSC training programme 2017 being conducted by Seva Bharati Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with Jnana Prabodhini, Pune (Maharashtra) was held today. The programme will be concluded on January 16 next.
The event was graced by Ravi Dhawan, OSD to CS and Sandip Kumar Singh, DC Capital Complex.
Addressing the students, the duo enlightened them on the true purpose of joining the civil services. They said that civil services offer a golden opportunity to serve the society and make a difference at a very young age. The training programme is being conducted at seven different centers in the state viz Itanagar, Naharlagun, Aalo, Seppa, Tezu, Pasighat and Bomdila.
21 resource persons from Jnana Prabodhini are serving as faculty.
The purpose of the programme is to provide the students with an overview of the UPSC and APPSC exams and give them an insight into the preparation strategy for the same.
On its 6th consecutive year, the programme has received an unprecedented response this year with 664 registrations in all. Seva Bharati is consistently working for the overall progress of youth of the state and this effort is a part of its larger goal.
